MSA Focus further cements its position at the heart of global sports broadcasting, as ForeTV is selected by digital media and content delivery services specialists; Encompass Singapore, to underpin its channel management services for beIN Sports, the latest sports content provider to join the Encompass stable.
Encompass is a global technology services company focused on supporting broadcast, cable and digital leaders; designing, implementing and operating reliable video solutions that capture, process and deliver their clients’ video content from any source, in any format, to any destination in the most efficient manner possible. It’s Singapore operation provides the largest digital media and content delivery facility in the region, originating over 125 channels and with 16 satellite uplinks.
The rich and adaptable feature set provided by ForeTV along with MSA Focus’ experience in both the provision managed services and the preparation of sports content enabled them to deliver a comprehensive, tailored solution. This allowed Encompass Singapore to implement an accelerated timeline of less than a month, for the migration and launch of four key channels across four regional feeds: Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia and Hong Kong, with the Malaysian feed taken live inside two weeks.
Throughout this fast-track implementation, Encompass Singapore has been expertly supported with project management, technical advice and system support from MSA Focus’ regional office in Kuala Lumpur. With a further 10 channels per feed to be taken live in the coming weeks; completing beIN Sports current offering of 14 Channels of premium global sport to the Asia-Pacific region, this marks yet another milestone in the continued recognition of ForeTV’s strength and flexibility.
