Pan-Asian broadcaster Xin Ya Satellite take ForeTV in Software as a Service deal

MSA Focus is pleased to announce an agreement with Pan-Asian satellite TV broadcaster Xin Ya Satellite, to provide its leading Broadcast Management System, ForeTV as a software service solution.

Xin Ya Satellite TV is the first Mandarin regional cable and satellite Pay TV broadcaster based in Singapore and will utilize ForeTV to prepare content for transmission across five regions around Asia and the USA.

Xin Ya’s scope of business includes the provision of video content to broadcast platforms and the professional management of media platforms.

This deal further expands the use of MSA Focus products within the Asia region, Phua Lik Chin the MSA Focus Regional Manager said: “The use of ForeTV as a software service solution makes this deal particularly exciting for us. Xin Ya preferred not to invest in the infrastructure and IT personnel required to host their own channel management system; however with ForeTV’s .NET based architecture and our ongoing partnership programme with Microsoft we are still able to present ForeTV directly to the desktop. “

With initial training taking place during May 2010, Xin Ya will be fully operational for June 2010.
