DirecTV Latin America sets its sites on ForeTV

DIRECTV Latin America, the leading satellite television provider in Latin America and the Caribbean, is due to go live with ForeTV, the integrated broadcast management solution from MSA Focus, in October.

This implementation marks a significant milestone for ForeTV as it involves a number of sites in Los Angeles, Puerto Rico and New York, with others, including the operation in Venezuela and Sales Offices in Argentina, to be brought online with ForeTV in phase 2.

ForeTV’s advanced architecture easily allowed complex interfaces to a number of DIRECTV’s existing systems to make ForeTV the central point of entry for all Ad Sales data. Contract information can be entered and displayed in multiple timezones, allowing all Sales Offices to operate with schedules transmitted across multiple timezones.

By bringing together multiple locations, seamlessly integrating their ad-sales operations, and providing training in both English and Spanish, this implementation of MSA Focus’ ForeTV has enabled DIRECTV to fulfill its requirement to fully support its regional operations throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

This further strengthens MSA Focus’ formidable presence in Latin America with installations already live in A&E Mundo, E! Entertainment (Latin America) and MTV LA.
